General Duties

We are a leading provider of forwarding, transportation, and distribution services. The successful candidate will be experienced, serviced oriented, and have a track record of success in a dynamic, fast past environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have billing experience in the logistics industry, with a strong focus on warehouse and transportation billing. Knowledge of accounts payable processes is also beneficial, as the role may provide support in that area as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage warehouse and transportation billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Generate invoices, verify supporting documentation, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth billing operations.
  • Assist in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment scheduling as needed.
  • Maintain organized financial records and assist in audits as required.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in billing and accounting operations.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and submit customer invoices in accordance with individual customer rate sheets.
  • Compile customer activity reports in preparation for billing.
  • Prepare and coordinate deposit activities.
  • Check, verify and process vendor invoices.
  • Sort, code and enter accounts payable data.
  • Assist with employee expense reports.
  • Prepare payments for signature and mailing.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist in month end reporting procedures.
  • Verify accounting journals and ledgers in accordance with those you are responsible for.
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, a related field or equivalent education.
  • At least 5-years related professional experience in the field of Accounting and Finance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Software Applications related to accounting and finance.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both in writing and orally, with customers, employees and management.
  • Ability to work well independently, within a team and under pressure, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, exercise initiative and creativity to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping principles and procedures.

Must be willing to work Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office) in Alabang Muntinlupa office site

Must have reliable internet connection at home

Must be willing to work Tuesday - Saturday - 12 midnight to 9am Manila Time
