Job Summary

The Compliance Manager will oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, manage compliance audits, and maintain effective communication across functions to foster a culture of compliance throughout the Company.

In this role, the Compliance Manager will regularly collaborate with in-country compliance teams from Chubb entities served by CBSP. This engagement is essential to ensure that all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies of in-countries.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance Program/Framework

• Strengthen the existing CBSP compliance program/framework by ensuring its effective implementation and ongoing integration throughout the company.

• Support the Head of Legal & Compliance in the development and execution of the compliance strategy.

Compliance Policies and Procedures

• Ensure effective implementation of compliance policies.

• Maintain all Compliance Policies and Procedures.

• Ensure awareness across the business to Compliance Policies and Procedures.

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay up to date with regulatory developments relevant to CBSP.

• Maintain a regulatory universe

• Maintain a regulatory gap analysis for regulations impacting the core business of CBSP

Compliance Assurance Review

• Oversee the execution of compliance assurance reviews ensuring effective management and coordination of required remedial actions.

• Maintain and update the Company’s risk register and identify areas of compliance risk and non-compliance.

• Conduct local regulatory monitoring as required by regulations.

Incident and Breach Management

• Prepare the compliance incident and breach report for stakeholders

• Maintain the incident and breach register and ensure appropriate systemic mitigation

Training and Awareness

• Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels to enhance compliance awareness and adherence to policies.

• Collaborate with relevant functions to ensure effective communication of compliance policies and updates.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with various departments to facilitate compliance-related activities and to provide guidance on compliance matters.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Reporting

• Draft compliance-related reports as required by the Head of L&C or regional/in-country compliance

• Maintain the Compliance Dashboard on an ongoing basis.

• Draft regulatory compliance reports as required, with oversight of the Head of L&C and regional L&C.

Additional Key Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to compliance-related issues with a problem solving, practical approach.

• Lead in developing a culture of compliance where speaking up about compliance concerns is encouraged.

• Oversee complaints reporting sent to in-countries.

· Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

Experience

· Minimum 5 years compliance, internal audit, risk management or legal experience

· Experience working in a multinational company.

· Experience in insurance industry will be preferred.

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree.

· LLB graduate is preferred but not required.

· Proficient in Microsoft and Sharepoint.
