Job Summary
Lalaguna Villas is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Company Nurse to oversee the health and well-being of our employees and guests while also providing occasional private nursing care to the resort owner. The role includes administering first aid, conducting health programs, ensuring workplace safety, assisting guests with medical concerns, and accompanying the resort owner to Manila for medical check-ups when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Health & Workplace Safety:
Provide first aid treatment and medical assistance to employees and guests as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records of employees and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Conduct health and wellness programs, such as vaccination drives and health check-ups.
Monitor and report any workplace hazards that may affect employee health.
Assist in processing employee medical-related benefits such as SSS sickness claims.
Guest Health & Medical Assistance
Respond to guest health concerns and provide basic medical assistance as required.
Accompany guests to the nearest medical facility or hospital when necessary.
Coordinate with local healthcare providers for emergency situations and medical referrals.
Ensure the resort's first aid kits and emergency medical supplies are well-stocked.
Private Nursing Assistance
Provide personal medical care and assistance to the resort owner as required.
Accompany the resort owner to Manila for medical consultations and check-ups when necessary.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for proper medical care.
Administrative & Compliance Duties
Maintain an inventory of medical supplies and ensure availability of emergency medications.
Assist in HR-related tasks related to occupational health, such as health clearances for new hires.
Ensure compliance with local health and labor laws regarding workplace safety and employee well-being.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed nurse (RN) in the Philippines.
At least 1 year of experience as a company nurse, private nurse, or in a similar role.
Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
Willing to travel to Manila as needed for medical appointments.
Willing to accompany guests to nearby medical facilities when required.
Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
