- Review existing authored specification content and update or restructure content to ensure that it reflects changes in standards, building codes, industry practice, and technologies.
- Bring construction industry professional judgement and technical competence into use for reviewing content.
- Provide oversight of technical content and potential risk, for NBS specification content and users.
- Review work by others and edit technical content to align with authoring and editorial policy and the Technical Quality Assurance Team Managers requirements, with specific emphasis on built environment technical content.
- Communicate editorial comments efficiently and effectively and discuss with the author and Quality Assurance Team Manager as appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of NBS editorial policy and style guides.
- Degree in a construction-related discipline: Architectural, M&E.
- Ideally with 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be able to start working and undergoing training right away.
- Must be willing to work in night shift (4pm- 1am).
- Professional communication (written & verbal).
- Comprehensive construction project experience.
- PC knowledge – Internet search engines, database experience, MS Office basic.
- Meticulous & strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry Standards and Building regulations.
