The Tech Pack Specialist plays a crucial role in product development and production processes by assembling and maintaining comprehensive technical packages (tech packs) that guide manufacturing apparel or other products.

What You Will Do

  • Assembly of Tech Pack:
    • Compile and organize all necessary information into a cohesive tech pack document, including development notes, design sketches, fabric and trim swatches, and construction details.
    • Collaborate with designers, product developers, and other stakeholders to ensure all relevant information is included and accurately represented.
  • Development of Technical Specifications:
    • Create detailed technical specifications encompassing drawings, fabrications, measurement specifications, grading rules, and construction details.
    • Ensure that technical specifications align with design requirements and production capabilities while considering cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Inputting Fit and Construction Findings:
    • Incorporate all fit and construction findings obtained through sample evaluations, fitting sessions, and quality assessments into the tech pack.
    • Update specification sheets with any necessary adjustments or modifications to accurately represent the product requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product development, technical design, or related roles within the apparel industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (such as Adobe Illustrator or similar programs) for creating technical drawings and sketches.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, measurements, fabric properties, and manufacturing processes.
