Role Overview:

An entry-level position supporting the procurement function, ideal for someone seeking to build a career in procurement and supply chain management. The role offers extensive training and development opportunities while providing crucial administrative support to the procurement team. Primarily focused on processing purchase orders and requests in our NetSuite ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement team with administrative tasks including purchase order processing, documentation management, and supplier communications
  • Assist in maintaining procurement databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
  • Help coordinate supplier meetings and maintain meeting minutes
  • Support the creation and maintenance of supplier performance reports
  • Assist in gathering market research and pricing information
  • Help track delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders
  • Support the team in document preparation for tenders and contract renewals
  • Maintain filing systems for contracts and supplier documentation
  • Assist in monitoring supplier insurance and certification expiry dates
  • Support the procurement team in basic analysis and data gathering tasks

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Secondary education completed with strong academic results
  • Administrative experience or relevant internship desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
