Area Commercial Sales Manager

As an Area Commercial Sales Manager (ACSM), your main job is to grow JTI’s business and brands in your assigned area. You’ll lead the sales team, manage daily operations, and ensure sales targets are met. Using market insights, you’ll develop strategies to strengthen customer relationships and increase brand presence. You'll work closely with different teams to build strong trade partnerships, manage budgets, and adapt to market trends. Ensuring compliance and operational efficiency will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role is key in driving sales growth and brand success in your area.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Market Growth

• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with market needs.

• Track performance, analyze trends, and drive revenue growth.

• Strengthen customer relationships to expand market reach.

2. Business Growth & Execution

• Identify growth opportunities and optimize sales operations.

• Lead trade and consumer programs for brand visibility.

• Conduct field visits to refine market strategies.

3. Leadership & Team Development

• Motivate, coach, and develop the sales team.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, feedback, and accountability.

• Work with HR to attract and retain top talent.

4. Operational & Financial Management

• Manage branch revenue, expenses, and profitability.

• Optimize sales routes and ensure cost efficiency.

• Oversee marketing events and strategic initiatives.

5. Inventory & Credit Management

• Ensure product availability and proper stock management.

• Minimize returns and maintain inventory quality.

• Oversee customer payments for smooth cash flow.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.

• Promote workplace safety and ethical operations.

• Conduct audits and manage risks effectively.

Requirements:

Education: College/university degree or equivalent.

Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG managerial position in sales, channel

management, distribution and field/general trade marketing.

Language Skills: Fluency in English and Tagalog (local dialect is a plus, depending on territory assignment)
