Unient is an established provider of varied remote offshore professional services roles to Australian Businesses. A motivated and experienced Business Development Manager, preferably with an out-staffing and/or BPO background, is sought to leverage the many opportunities present at this stage of the company growth.

Reporting the Head of Business Development & Sales the role will identify and qualify potential new clients, and nurture potential B2B client relationships to the point of appointment setting for the sales team. The role will be bear the responsibility for the definition and execution of inbound and outbound lead strategies for the business. There will be some sales involvement and the successful candidate will be adept at the sales discipline, however the focus of this position is on business development and lead generation.

High autonomy and responsibility is given to this work from home (+client visits) position. The successful candidate will be a self-starter adept at working alone and in a growing team. Leadership skill are required to support the expansion of this business development function.

BUSINESS DEVELPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Has ownership and full execution responsibility of inbound and outbound lead generation strategies.

• Develops, maintains and qualifies a database of OUTBOUND leads through social media (especially LinkedIn / Lusha), Referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.

• Qualifies INBOUND leads received through the company’s website and enquiry channels.

• Using detailed knowledge of the organisation's service offering, provides input into and quality control of, inbound collateral such as the website.

• Achieve warm lead opportunity targets.

• Where of value, participates in client visits to understand our client base and their needs better. Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships.

• Understand general market offerings, be able to articulate market trends and articulate well our potential solutions to client needs.

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In a backup capacity and from time to time, assist with sales activities.

MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES:

• Defines the Business Development team structure required to support the growing business development requirements of the organisation. Mentors and manages the business development team members.

• Defines lead generation and sales material requirements to the marketing team and provides quality of their output. Note that day to day management of this team is not required as the team is managed by the marketing manager

• Following a template, prepare weekly and monthly reports as is required to the Head of Business Development & Sales.

• Expand-out the organisation’s Business Development capability when volume and geographic reach requires this.

GENERAL ACTIVITIES:

• Works to become a competent user of the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, Sale and Project Operations tool suite.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.

• Willing to take on new responsibilities as may be assigned by the management.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Has exceptional English communication and presentation skills, and corporate sales techniques.

• LinkedIn relationship forming, LinkedIn Sales Manager, Cold Calling with Lusha details.

• Adept at working with businesses of all sizes: small businesses, medium business and large Enterprises.

• Able to identify, understand and meet the customer’s resourcing needs and demands.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid experience of successful B2B sales focusing on Recruitment and/or BPO services.

• A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding agreed KPIs

• 8 years, working in BPO or Out staffing.

• Tertiary qualifications are helpful. Our focus is on experience and track record.
