Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chemical Process Engineer located in Calaca, Batangas. The Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for the processes necessary for the required quality and quantity of demineralized water and monitoring of cooling water quality to ensure safe, adequate, reliable, efficient, economical, and environment friendly operation of the power plant units. This role is also responsible for the monitoring and control of boiler water and steam quality, make-up water treatment of boiler and cooling water systems, as well as calibration and maintenance of online analyzing equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Licensed Chemical Engineer
  • At least 2 yrs in water treatment plant operations
  • Chemical Process Engineering and Process Engineering skills
  • Experience in Process Design and Process Control
  • Knowledge of the Chemical Industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willing to work on-site
  • Experience in the energy or power industry is a plus
