About The Position

Join our growing global Marketing team as a Senior Social Media Specialist! With a proven track record in managing social media for B2B or tech companies, you’ll drive brand awareness and engagement across various platforms, specifically in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. As the main POC for social media in APAC, you will own the region’s social media program, from stakeholder management to planning, execution, and optimization. You will also conduct executive social media support for APAC.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for social media in the APAC region
  • Build relationships and closely collaborate with corporate and regional Marketing leaders
  • Help inform social media strategies by serving as an advisor/subject matter expert
  • Execute strategies with superb copywriting and efficient post scheduling/posting
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Content, etc.) to ensure on-time production of assets, including carousels, videos and graphics
  • Track and report social media analytics; continuously optimize social media programs with audits, reports, and recommendations
  • Assist other areas of AvePoint in their social media efforts by overseeing accounts in various departments and groups within the company as assigned
  • Communicate and collaborate with AvePoint colleagues and industry influencers who assist in generating social media content.

Technical Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a social media specialist; social media-native
  • Executive social media account management experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working in B2B or technology space preferred but not required
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with social media management tools, ideally Sprout Social, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok

Other Requirements

  • Proven success as an individual contributor and project coordinator in a highly collaborative global team
  • Self-starter and highly organized; can work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Willingness to experiment with new mediums, channels, and projects
  • Embodies agility, passion, and teamwork – and able to articulate how
