  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking to fill the position of Accounting Officer based in the Philippines to support our airline and tour representation in HT&T Travel Philippines.

This position is based in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle payables or receivables, as assigned
  • Liaise with the airline Head/Regional Office inquiries
  • Assist in banking and financial management
  • Assist in Payroll processing and accounting, record liabilities accurately, and effect payments in a timely manner
  • Prepare disbursements (check vouchers) and ensure that all disbursements are properly supported
  • Prepare tax filing schedules and filing of tax returns of the Company and Principal Carriers
  • Prepare timely submission of bi-monthly and monthly reports to the Principal Carriers
  • Assist with audit and liaise with tax consultant
  • Liaising with banks and other partners, as required
  • Other tasks as instructed by Business Support Manager or Finance Manager that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An accounting graduate with good scholastic record, CPA an advantage
  • proficient in oral and written communications
  • Computer literate
  • With at least 1 year of working experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications (Word, Exce,l and Dynamics 365 Business Central)
  • Self-motivated, articulate, and demonstrate team spirit
  • A fast, accurate worker, can cope with deadlines and work with minimum supervision
  • Well organized, with the ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Full-time position

SALARY

Salary range: PHP25,000 - PHP30,000

The compensation package includes a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience, a variable incentive/bonus based on the Company’s overall financial performance and profitability; benefits including company-paid employee medical/accident insurance and mobile phone (with mobile plan), and discounted staff travel benefits on one of Principal Carrier after one year in service.
