Role Description
- Formulate policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTTP) and Compliance Program.
- Set Parameters for customer risk rating and red flag alerts, and initiate systems for compliance and AML-related activities.
- Conduct investigation reports on red flags detected, and prepare and submit covered transaction reports and suspicious transactions.
- Monitor and disseminate regulatory issuances to concerned units.
- Monitor or review internal and external correspondences, and submission of reportorial reports to relevant regulatory bodies or agencies.
- Provide advisory or assistance to requesting units or personnel on compliance matters.
- Conduct compliance and AML training for employees.
- Conduct an institutional risk assessment.
- Track actions on, or compliance with, observations or directives of BSP and other relevant regulatory bodies and agencies.
- Prepare minutes of the Compliance and AML Committee.
- Perform compliance testing.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- With working knowledge of BSP's Manual of Regulations; and AMLA, its implementing rules and regulations, and rules and regulations of the AMLC.
- Can formulate or write policies and procedures, minutes, compliance advisories, and correspondences.
- Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with regulatory bodies and internal customers.
