Job Summary:
Perform booking coordination from client to carriers and other suppliers
Ensures end-to-end handling of import/export accounts including after sales account management and reporting in order to achieve sales target in compliance with import export standard procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date and relevant knowledge of the import and export business and ensures compliance with customs rules and regulations
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Serves as point of contact for key accounts; includes leading the internal/external program communications
- Coordinates, negotiates and resolves with agents and/or carrier of all concerns on rates, sailing dates and shipment issues
- Performs telemarketing function
- Reviews and monitors validity of tariff rates used and requests for rate extensions when needed
- Receives NOA's/Notices of arrivals, rate increase announcements and schedules of carriers and disseminates the same to clients
- Monitors and keeps track of cargo and informs clients of ETA
- Provies response to all client inquiries especially booking for both import and export accounts
- Coordinates with Truckers, Consolidators, and Carriers regarding concerns on rates, sailing dates and shipment status
- Handles booking inquiries for both import and export accounts
Job Specification:
- Graduate of four (4) year course
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Customer Service related experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, dynamic and assertive individual who can work under pressure
- Proficient is using Windows-based applications including word processing and database management
- Customer service skills
- Product knowledge
