Due to the continued success and growth of Seven Consulting, we are looking for a talented PMO Manager with relevant experience who shares our passion for delivering quality outcomes through business change to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Your new Role
As a PMO Manager, you will work directly with our clients to deliver high-quality PMO services. Each engagement is different but typical responsibilities of a PMO Manager include:
- Establishing and operating the PMO for large & complex projects, programs, or portfolios.
- Managing the PMO Team of Seven Consulting and client resources
- Driving improvements and uplifting PMO capabilities to meet client maturity needs
- Developing and implementing robust processes, managing the overall governance and controls
- Refining existing PMO practices in line with changing requirements and establishing best practices and frameworks.
- Act as an independent advisor to Sponsors, Steering Committee members, and stakeholders at all levels of the client’s organisation
- Lead/manage/mentor PMO team members
What you bring:
You are an experienced professional with a proven ability to support successful PMOs and demonstrated an extensive history of contributing alongside senior executives to ensure robust project planning, progress reporting, and process governance on mission-critical IT programs and projects.
You will also possess the following essential attributes:
- Track record of successfully delivering PMO services for large &/or complex technology programs
- Proven ability to stand up and manage PMOs for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios
- Minimum 10 years experience in governance and leadership to drive delivery outcomes
- Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and drive a strategic agenda
- Management of medium to large PMO teams
- Experience across Project, Program, and Portfolio levels of PMO as well as EPMO is desirable
- Exceptional references from previous employers and client sponsors
- High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery or turnaround success
- Natural team-building skills and demonstrated leadership experience
