About The Role
As an Operations Manager in our Commercial Servicing Team, you’ll be responsible for leading the SME Wholesale Servicing team, providing support to the Senior Commercial Ops Manager and managing projects and internal productivity initiatives. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the delivery of targets and customer service, via robust learning and development frameworks.
The role contributes to maximising Business Banking and Regional Commercial Banking revenue by mitigating operational credit losses and ensuring the efficient use and skilling of resources.
He/She will be a strong support of Senior Commercial Ops Manager and collaborate with other CSO Leaders in driving overall team and organisational objectives.

What will your day look like?
As an Operations Manager, you will:
- Operate effectively and efficiently as part of a wider team and ensure team achieves annual operating budgets
- Understand the needs of the Relationship Sets and customers to ensure service delivery to meet/exceed their and QA/ regulatory requirements.
- Proactively reviews and implements improvements in practices and procedures to allow Relationship Delivery Team exceed SLA targets.
- Manages a highly effective, high performing team
- Act as point of reference for other AM’s and team members.
- Allocates work based on a balanced resource profile and ensures team's SLA's are met.
- Coaches and Mentors senior consultants/team members.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Customer focus and result oriented
- Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify risks and impacts and recommend actions to enable resolution of business challenges
- Proven time management and organisational ability
- Proven management skills in the areas of people, processes and organization
- Negotiation skills to enable successful resolution of business banking requests/queries/complaints
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
