ROLE DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the overall management and administration of plans, programs, structures and strategies on personnel administration and employee development within the limits of acceptable HR practices in the industry and established guidelines, standards and procedures of the Hotel in order to achieve operational efficiency by ensuring strategic, prompt and proper delivery of HR services.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Supervision of at least two (2) direct reports
  • Departmental budget, equipment and manuals
  • Confidentiality of information such as employee records, salary structure, trade secrets, training materials and other related materials
  • Integrity and confidentiality of the Hotel’s database

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of any four (4) year course, preferably major in Psychology with post graduate studies and/or related specialized courses
  • At least eight (8) years of working experience in human resources, five (5) years of which in managerial capacity
  • Extensive knowledge and practice in the facets of recruitment, occupational health, employee relations, wage, salary and benefits and training
  • Familiarity with concepts on occupational health and safety as well as labor laws in the areas of due process, compensation and wages, mandatory benefits,
  • Knowledgeable of techniques on interviewing, counseling and training
  • Literacy in computer operations with background in HR systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competent in negotiation, presentation and training
  • Willing to be relocated to Cebu City
