With the diverse expertise of our Principals, our services have expanded over time to include strategic advisory for mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, corporate insolvency, turnaround and restructuring, forensics, and more. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to support our continued growth and drive key business activities.
Job Overview:
In this permanent, full-time position, you will be working closely with our Managers to guide a diligent team of junior and senior accountants through key processes and business activities. You will gain invaluable practical experience by immersing yourself in all opportunities that Aston Chace has to offer. Reporting to the Principals, you will be vital in communicating with internal and external stakeholders effectively to ensure that expectations are met to a high standard.
We want you to capitalise on your skill set and build your professional network through assisting with business development, client management, liquidation and insolvency, and advisory. Key Responsibilities:
- Have sound business and commercial acumen.
- Support the Principals in all aspects of our key processes, including insolvency, restructuring, investigations, and voluntary administration.
- Play a key role in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, particularly the client journey.
- Assist in developing innovative strategies to solve complex business problems for clients.
- Lead junior employees through skills development to assist you with projects.
- Use financial modelling, analysis, and other relevant skills to inform decision-making.
- Positively impact on the team’s culture and always deliver high-quality services.
- Work diligently within a fast-paced environment.
- Be involved in working capital management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in professional service.
- A broad professional background and understanding of practical aspects of business operations, commerciality and managing.
- Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand membership, or in the process of obtaining.
- Proven ability to develop connections, and influence at all levels.
- A strong understanding of voluntary administration, liquidation, and business trading processes.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, advanced in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling and capital management.
- Willingness to progress, with potential plans to gain Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association membership.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong internal and external communication, both written and verbal, and professionalism.
- Technical skills in all relevant areas will be considered.
- Experience in client relationship management.
- Demonstrated motivation, discipline, and resilience.
