We’re seeking a Automation Test Analyst!
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving our software quality assurance lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to establish test strategies, and developing automated tests to ensure our releases meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable and scalable software testing components
- Develops and evolves large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance strategies, and data analysis strategies.
- Develop test automation framework and architectures. Maintain and evolve them over time
- Work with development and testing teams to gather and extract test requirements and test cases
- Ensure adoption and expand the reach of the delivered adoption
- Drive a continuous effort to reduce test cycle time, minimize defect rate, and maximize application quality
- Document testing processes, automation coverage, status and execution reports
- Test and validate proper software behavior
- Frequently interface with team members and other programming teams
- Coach, mentor, guide and educate other QA team members on automation techniques and tools
- Coordinate daily QA activities with other QA resources
- Participation in daily Scrums, agile planning and sprints
- Write clear and concise bug reports and help developers to narrow down issues
- Work with manual testing team to enhance the testing efforts
Requirements and skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or .net preferred).
- Proficient and knowledgeable in JSON, XML, HTML, and/or WPF is desired.
- Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.
- Experience in testing/automating desktop applications a plus.
- Familiar with the Microsoft Azure SaaS environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (Jira, ADO)
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, Snow Flake, Redshift or other databases is required.
- Experience with Cypress, Postman, and/or Leapwork automation tools desired.
- Experience testing ETL and big data applications is desired.
- Hands on experience in building, utilizing, and maintaining automation frameworks is required.
- Hands on experience in building automation test strategies is required.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and software testing
- Experience in writing test plans, developing test case scenarios, and documenting defects
- Minimum of three years hands-on Automation experience, including scripting
- Ability to analyze failed test scripts and troubleshoot
- Experience with agile methodologies
- We develop and sell a market-leading Customer Data Platform (CDP) – prior experience with CDP technology is HIGHLY desired
