Finance Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. The successful candidate will be reporting under an SMC Subsidiary - Nine Dots Media Consulting.
Responsibilities
1) Financial Accounting and Management Reporting
- Revenue and Expense reporting - Variance and performance analysis, vs. target, vs. previous periods, etc. (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Preparation of financial reports for quarterly board meetings
- Preparation of financial statements, eg Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flows and related reports
2) Legal and statutory compliance - preparation of Audited Financial reports, filing with BIR, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
3) Budgeting (annual) - budget preparation, analysis and forecasting
4) Short term performance monitoring - weekly monitoring, provide inputs/guidance to business units in order to ensure monthly targets are met
5) Taxation - experience in tax filing and BIR audits
6) Internal Control - can handle day to day operations ensuring controls are in place
7) Project costing - able to review CAPEX from various departments and provide guidance and inputs for approval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- At least 5 years of supervisory work in Finance specifically dealing with general accounting, systems, financial management reporting and financial analysis
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). SAP skill advantage but not required
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Strong oral and written Communication skills
