The Data Analyst is responsible to collect, organize, and interpret data, transforming it into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data management, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), and the ability to create detailed and visually appealing reports and charts that communicate data-driven narratives clearly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and organize large data sets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Report Generation: Develop detailed and insightful reports based on key metrics, including but not limited to performance trends, KPIs, and forecasts.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.) and other tools to extract meaningful insights.
- Visualization & Storytelling: Create compelling charts, graphs, and presentations that summarize findings and effectively communicate trends, results, and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automating and optimizing reporting processes to improve data accessibility and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborative Communication: Work closely with various departments to understand data needs and deliver customized reports that aid decision-making.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, formulas, charts).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of data management, report generation, and trend analysis.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and offer actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear, concise, and compelling data story.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage large data sets.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for process improvement.
- Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL) and/or CRM systems.
- Experience in dashboard creation and automation of reports.
- Knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies.
