What you will own...

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local labour laws.
  • Manage and update employee records and HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
  • Partner with current payroll provider, and work towards ownership of the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
  • Assist with payroll audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws, including employee contracts, terminations, and workplace regulations.
  • Advise management on labour law updates and implications for the business.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary actions while maintaining legal compliance.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Monitor employee performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and payroll performance.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to recommend HR strategies and improvements.

What we are looking for...

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field OR Certification in HR.
  • Experience in the finance/crypto/fintech/FX sector essential.
  • Experience in a start up environment advantageous.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with 2+ years experience in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing payroll, strong familiarity with payroll software and statutory contributions.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR operations and Philippine labour laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges, resolve issues, and implement effective solutions.
