We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant/Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, deployment, optimizing, and securing cloud solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with deploying, debugging, managing and ensuring the security of their cloud and data on cloud infrastructures. Success in this position requires preferably multi-cloud experience (preferable Azure/AWS) identifying optimal solutions, adhering to best practices, strong troubleshooting skills, awareness of industry trends, and excellent teamwork.

Key responsibilities:

  • Able to Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure (preferable multi-cloud).
  • Administer and deploy new VM instances and related infrastructure (Vnet, ELB etc.)
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
  • Configuring monitoring of cloud resources for performance and cost optimization.
  • Strong understanding of cloud billing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies.
  • Ability to develop scripts for deployment, monitoring, reporting, and alerts, ensuring a robust, redundant, scalable 100% uptime infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Able to plan and migrate existing on-premises applications and services to the cloud.
  • Work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of AWS projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation.
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC using Terraform or any other tools) leveraging cloud-native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.
  • Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.

Required Skills:

  • Two or more years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure platforms.
  • Experience with cloud data and AI services.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience managing common cloud services on AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience with design, deployment and management of IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Experience in IaC development with any of the following Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework of the providers.
  • Knowledgeable about networking and security.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • AWS and/or Azure Solution Architect certification will receive preference.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure OpenAI platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience with other cloud services like Azure DevOps etc.
  • Experience scripting with Perl, Python, and PowerShell is highly desirable.
