Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at in Plaridel, Bulacan. The person hired ensures the smooth operation of the mechanical and electrical equipment. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving equipment efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery (foaming, conveyors, cutting machines, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee facility maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems).
  • Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Control maintenance costs and implement energy-saving measures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years in mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Skills: Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; skilled with tools (e.g., wrenches, welding machines) and PLC programming.
  • Certifications: Electrician or Welding Certificate preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
