GoTeam is looking for a Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team supporting a leading mortgage brokerage based in Australia. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth flow of processes from application to settlement.
What You Will Do:
- Confirming commission payments and categorizing files as 'settled' upon payment
- Managing the application process and liaising with clients for outstanding documentation
- Ordering valuations and following up on valuation orders
- Coordinating pricing and scenarios with lenders
- Handling loan documentation, solicitors, and account setup
- Overseeing post-settlement activities such as pricing, switching, and retention pricing
- Monitoring the pipeline and ensuring timely progression of applications
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless post-approval to settlement processes
- Providing support in day-to-day operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience working as a Broker Assistant for an Australian Mortgage Brokerage firm
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with mortgage or financial services industry is a plus
- Proficiency in using relevant software and applications for loan processing and documentation
