We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to manage daily Accountant records, report preparation, tax filings, and other finance-related tasks. This position requires strong numerical proficiency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the company’s financial data, while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all accounting activities of the company are recorded properly in compliance
- Contribute to and lead portions of month-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations;
- Perform Accounts Payable and treasury functions as needed;
- Handle fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and tax matters;
- Review and file all accounting and tax documents;
- Support audit initiatives and work closely with external auditors and tax;
- Partner with other departments to ensure proper accounting for transactions;
- Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting team by participating in cross-training, sharing job responsibilities, and serving as position backup for other team members;
- Develop and document business processes and accounting procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with system implementation projects and ad hoc requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance is required
- Proven 4-5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, international accounting standards, and best practices in global operations;
- Proficiency in English is required;
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fas‐paced, professional environment;
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team, with strong verbal, written and communication skills
