Mechanical Engineers:
- Conduct thermal and structural analysis of solar PV module mounting systems and support structures.
- Size and select appropriate mechanical equipment such as tracking systems, inverters, and balance of system components.
- Develop installation procedures and oversee field assembly and integration.
- Perform failure mode and effects analysis to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Experience with solar thermal systems and renewable energy technologies is highly desirable.
- Assess site conditions and develop foundation designs for solar PV arrays and support infrastructure.
- Perform geotechnical investigations and soil analysis to determine optimal ground preparation.
- Design access roads, drainage systems, and other site civil works to enable solar project construction and operations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
- Experience with solar farm construction and renewable energy infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Size and select appropriate electrical equipment including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and grid interconnection.
- Develop single-line diagrams and wiring schematics for solar PV systems.
- Oversee installation of DC collection systems, AC electrical distribution, and grid-tied infrastructure.
- Develop commissioning plans and perform acceptance testing to verify system performance.
- Experience with photovoltaic (PV) systems and renewable energy technologies is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy or power systems industry.
- Strong technical skills in design, analysis, and project management.
- Familiarity with solar PV technology, electrical systems, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the Philippines.
