Prescription Assistant (Remote)
JOB DETAILSThe Position
The Prescription Assistant is responsible for answering prescription follow-up emails, responding promptly to inquiries, addressing issues, and documenting communications. They verify prescription orders by ensuring accuracy, cross-checking with opticians, and confirming compliance with regulations. The role involves tracking the status of prescriptions, addressing delays, and ensuring timely fulfilment.Meeting individual and team KPIs, such as order accuracy, response times, and follow-up completion, is essential. Additional duties include providing excellent customer service, collaborating with the opticians and other team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality. Key skills required are attention to detail, communication, time management, and problem-solving. The PA also handles other administrative tasks from the management if it arises and needed.
Responsibilities
- Responding promptly to prescription-related inquiries, addressing issues, and documenting communications.
- Ensuring prescription details are accurate, cross-checking with healthcare providers, and confirming compliance with regulations.
- Tracking the status of prescriptions, addressing delays, and ensuring timely fulfilment.
- Achieving individual and team KPIs, including order accuracy, response times, and follow-up completion.
- Gain knowledge of the company's various services to enhance your expertise.
- Participate in team meetings, exams, quizzes, and collaborative activities to foster teamwork and continuous learning.
- Providing excellent customer service, collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality.

- Prompt Email Response – Ability to reply quickly and professionally to email folowups while maintaining clarity and accuracy.

- Problem-Solving – Address and resolve issues related to prescriptions and delays.

- Collaboration – Work effectively with the opticians, lab and other team to meet KPIs and goals.
- Confidentiality andCompliance – Adhere to privacy laws and maintain customer confidentiality.
