We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing/Recruiting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in identifying and attracting top talent with backgrounds in law firms, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries.
Responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential candidates with experience in law firms, focusing on attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries.
- Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms to find and engage with qualified candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and interest.
- Maintain and update the candidate database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Assist in coordinating interviews and follow-up communications with candidates.
- Provide administrative support to the recruiting team, including scheduling interviews and managing correspondence.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in legal recruiting.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent hands-on sourcing experience and be well versed in LinkedIn and other platforms. Must have expertise prescreening candidates either by phone or video.Must be open to working in the US Eastern Time Zone.Proven experience in sourcing or recruiting, preferably within the legal industry.Familiarity with legal roles, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries.Strong understanding of recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, ATS).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and match them with job requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
