Job Summary

This role combines the responsibilities of a digital product owner, business analyst, and solution expert, focusing on driving the development, enhancement and adoption of digital products. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define product requirements, and create strategic solutions that align with both customer needs and business goals. They will ensure clear communication between stakeholders, analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address challenges. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, solutions-driven professional capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities while ensuring that products meet both user expectations and business objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Product Managers on new feature development, research, analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Perform competitive analysis and solution research to solve complex challenges and identify opportunities for improvements and innovations.
  • Conduct testing of new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • Develop clear, concise, and actionable requirements documentation for internal teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure effective implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements and business needs.
  • Participate in or facilitate discovery sessions for new client stores, ensuring clear and comprehensive requirements are captured.
  • Act as a solution architect, collaborating with sales teams to define requirements and deliver solutions leveraging existing technology.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our platforms, assisting in solving business challenges by recommending optimal configurations to enhance the user experience.
  • Help to resolve issues, differentiating between configuration-related problems and code-related issues and work with developers for resolution.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on our Adobe Commerce platform, providing insights, guidance, and training to internal teams as needed.

Job Skills And Traits

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage product feature enhancements, balancing business goals with user needs. Experience in driving product delivery and defining product vision, especially within the B2B and B2C e-commerce space.
  • Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Able to translate complex business needs into actionable product specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Commerce platform, with the ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resolve technical challenges while driving innovative solutions for e-commerce features.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of product features.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions to improve user experiences and operational efficiency.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to design digital experiences that enhance satisfaction, drive engagement, and improve the overall customer journey in e-commerce and branded merchandise.
  • Proficient with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar hybrid role, working in an ecommerce business.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
