Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer

We cater to various industries, including industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, food and beverage, and mining markets.
Job Summary: An opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a permanent full-time position. The incumbent will work closely with a tight-knit team, reporting to the Financial Controller. This role will be primarily focused on AP.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of Accounts Payable including setting up new suppliers, seeking invoice approvals, matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets, and coding and entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Month-end closing activities, including closing Accounts Payable and preparing reports on outstanding payables
- Weekly update on accounts payable status including comments and action items.
- vendor liaisons and dispute resolutions.
- Prepare and process EFT transactions – Local and Overseas.
- Process expense statements.
- Credit Card Reconciliation and Payments.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable duties as backup.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as per required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years experience with full function Accounts Payable role in a major ERP system (NetSuite preferred).
- Possesses attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven role.
- Great written and verbal communication skills along with a customer service focus.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Exposure or experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Payroll is advantageous.
