About The Role
You will be working in a business that specialises in placing insurance risks across domestic & commercial businesses. The primary objective of the role is:
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and underwriters regarding new business, quotations, renewals and endorsements
- Manage your own portfolio of claims from lodgment to completion and provide an excellent level of service to the client.
- Communicate effectively with insurers in relation to claims and determining coverage and negotiating settlements.
- You will be responsible for leaving detailed notes on insight for all client enquiries and claims.
- Source competitive quotations for domestic insurance products. Opportunity for staff member to further skills through professional development, moving towards quotations and management of commercial insurance products.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 to 5 years overall General Insurance with at least 3 years minimum of Australian General Insurance experience
- At least 3 years AU General Insurance broking support/assistant experience
- Must have multiple insurance lines experience (Domestic and Commercial) while Agricultural and Farm insurance lines is nice to have only
- Experience with insurance software/tools (Insight insurance broking is nice to have only)
- Must have knowledge and experience in the required documents and forms needed for renewals, etc in regards to compliance
