Job Overview:
The client is looking for a Business Analyst to act as the bridge between customers and our development team, ensuring clear requirements, effective stakeholder communication, and efficient project execution. This role requires analytical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience in software development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate strong customer relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact, actively listening to understand customer needs, challenges, and business objectives. Foster trust and transparent communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
2. Elicitate and document comprehensive requirements: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops to uncover the true essence of customer requirements. Translate those needs into clear, concise, and customer-centric functional specifications, ensuring flawless project execution.
3. Champion effective stakeholder communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including project managers, development teams, and senior management. Proactively share project status, identify potential risks, and propose solutions, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment.
4. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure that the delivery of customer requirements is efficient and effective.
5. Assists with functional and product testing.
6. Act as advanced support agent to support Customer Support team to resolve escalated technical issues.
Must Haves:
Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, OR Production Planning.
Required Qualifications:
1. The ability to work flexible hours depending on project requirements.
2. Over 3 years of experience working in the software development environment. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to dissect complex customer needs and translate them into actionable roadmaps for successful product development.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Fluency in English is a must, with fluency in Japanese or German a valuable asset.
5. Proven ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication, data-driven insights, and persuasive presentations.
6. Bachelor's Degree in business administration, information technology, or equivalent experience
7. Experience with user story creation is highly desirable, allowing you to translate customer needs into actionable steps for the development team.
8. Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus, but your eagerness to learn and adapt is paramount.
