- Reconcile financial records for multiple small business clients using QuickBooks and potentially Xero, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

- Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, contributing to the financial health assessment of client businesses
- Collaborate with senior team members on tax planning initiatives, gaining exposure to advanced financial strategies
- Support the development and implementation of efficient bookkeeping processes as the company expands its service offerings
- Stay updated on accounting software developments and industry best practices to continually improve service quality
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks; familiarity with Xero is a significant plus
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client accounts efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies in a rapidly evolving business environment
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
