Job Details:

  • Perform required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard as Safety Officer
  • Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Controls on existing and new processes and equipment
  • Conduct investigation and root cause analysis of accidents, health related issues, and other safety related issues and submit report to his/her immediate leader and to the Bureau if necessary.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits
  • Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.
  • Support on ISO 45001 Standard – OHS Management System
  • Ensure Emergency Preparedness Response readiness for all sites
  • Act as Fire Safety Practitioner
  • Drive the Emergency Response Team to coordinate emergency response efforts
  • Ensure that the necessary emergency procedures are in place and updated as necessary
  • Plan, organize, implement, and coordinate drills, emergency training and other related activities
  • Facilitate compliance, securing, application and renewal of necessary permits to DOLE, BFP and other government regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by the government agencies.
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in planning, organizing, leading, and enforcing safety programs
  • With extensive and accredited training in Safety practices
  • Must possess technical competence in the areas of Safety and Emergency Response
  • Must be knowledgeable in Safety related laws and regulations.
  • Strong business knowledge, good judgment and decision making, excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Work location: Clark, Pampanga
  • Willing for a shifting schedule
