Job Overview:
The Event Coordinator/Event Planner is responsible for fostering a positive, fun, and engaging workplace culture while managing a wide range of employee-focused initiatives and company events. The Event Coordinator will oversee the coordination of company events, negotiate related costs, and assist with annual overseas trips. This role ensures that employees feel valued, supported, and engaged, contributing to the overall success of the company.
In this role you’ll get to manage these functions:
- Event Coordination & Management
- Lead the planning and execution of company events, including summer outings, special fun days, and the annual Christmas party.
- Ensure all events align with company values and foster team bonding and employee engagement.
- Oversee logistics, schedules, and ensure all events run smoothly.
- Collaborate with other teams to coordinate event logistics and resources.
- Cost Negotiation & Budgeting
- Manage the negotiation and costing of all company events and employee experiences, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Work with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the best pricing for events while maintaining quality and employee satisfaction.
- Annual Overseas Trip Assistance
- Provide support for the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s annual overseas trip.
- Assist with travel arrangements, itinerary planning, and overall trip logistics to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for employees.
- Research & Implementation of Additional Benefits
- Assist in researching new benefits that align with employee needs and company culture.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of additional employee benefits that enhance work-life balance and employee satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in employee engagement and workplace happiness.
- Survey Implementation & Feedback Collection
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee happiness, satisfaction, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze survey data and collaborate with management to take actionable steps based on employee input.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in event planning, employee engagement, or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels within the organization.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging work culture.
- Strong analytical and survey research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools; experience with event management software is a plus.
