DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems.
  • Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting or any related field
  • At least 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a strong focus on e-commerce and service-based industries.
  • Experienced in managing the complete month-end and year-end closing process, including reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger finalization, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
