Business Development Specialist
About the role
Customer Engagement Officer is responsible for ensuring all leads are monitored, engaged, and nurtured in a timely and strategic manner. This role plays a critical part in optimizing the sales funnel by ensuring prompt follow-ups, tracking lead progress, and coordinating with the sales team to enhance conversion rates. Additionally, this role includes appointment setting to facilitate meaningful interactions between potential clients and sales representatives, as well as assisting the marketing team with lead acquisitions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and data-driven, with a strong ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously while maintaining excellent communication with potential clients.
Required Qualifications/ Experiences
- Proven experience in lead management, sales coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HubSpot and Apollo
- Experience generating leads through LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and nurture potential customers.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Experience with sales automation tools and email marketing platforms is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate reports and insights from lead data.
- Experience in marketing support or lead generation is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track all incoming leads, ensuring they are captured, categorized, and assigned appropriately within the CRM system.
- Ensure initial contact is made with all leads within the required time frame through phone, email, or other digital communication channels.
- Implement and manage an effective follow-up process to maintain engagement and move leads through the sales funnel.
- Schedule meetings between potential clients and sales representatives to ensure smooth handovers and effective sales conversations.
- Work closely with sales representatives to ensure lead handover processes are seamless and that no opportunities are missed.
- Conduct initial screening and qualification of leads to determine their potential and readiness for sales engagement.
- Continuously evaluate and refine lead engagement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure leads receive a positive experience through personalized and professional communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts, optimize outreach strategies, and ensure alignment between marketing and sales objectives.
