Demand Planner
We are looking for a Demand Planner to be assigned in Manila (Head Office).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitor, analyze and report the inventory of assigned company and brand to ensure that business operations have adequate products/brands to achieve overall company objectives.
Monitors inventory movement of assigned brands to ensure adequate stocking levels.
- Monitors stock quantity levels in the system via the inventory program (ZIP)
- Receives recommendations from Sales Groups and Warehouse Department the items for stocking either through email, Request for Stocking (RFS) or Request for Stocking and Sample (RFSS).
- Coordinates/meets with respective General and Sales Managers for projected business forecast and project quantity requirements to determine adequacy of the quantity of current stocks and stocks for replenishment.
- Analyzes inventory data to finalized product proposal for ordering taking into consideration the: lead time of manufacturing, size of order, timeline for project requirements and technical aspect of order
- Prepares and submits reports to Product and Technical Consultant which include but not limited to the following:
- Bi-weekly stock movement report
- Bi-weekly stock replenishment request report
- Other relevant reports
Monitors slow and non-moving products from the assigned brands to identify cause of slow movement.
- Identifies the products that are slow or non-moving among the assigned brand.
- Determines and evaluates reason/s of slow or non-movement of the assigned brand by communicating/discussing with respective General or Sales Managers.
- Recommends to Product and Technical Consultant solution/s to move the product in the market.
- Prepares monthly report of Slow and non-moving products/ incomplete/ obsolete items from the assigned brands and submits to Product and Technical Consultant for review and notation.
Provides assistance to Sales Group request for technical sheets and brochures.
- Attends to the request of Sales Group for technical sheet and brochures.
- Coordinates with Communication Coordinator the request for Foreign principals.
Other tasks which may be assigned by Superior or Top Management from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of 4-year relevant business course.
- With at least 3 years relevant experience in a company of similar nature.
- Knowledge on inventory management procedures
- Planning and forecasting
- Computer knowledgeable
- Detail- oriented and organized
- Fast and efficient
- Result-oriented
- Professional and with sound work ethics
