- Labor Compliance & Legal Advisory
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable local labor laws, DOLE regulations, and government audit requirements for the company’s internal operations.
- Stay informed about changes in DOLE regulations, programs, and processes, and proactively communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate government-related audits, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all required documentation (e.g., DOLE reports, labor compliance reports).
- Evaluate labor-related risks in internal company policies, programs, and operational processes, providing guidance to mitigate potential labor disputes.
- Oversee the compliance of Non-FTE (NFTE) workers within internal operations, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company standards.
- Training & Stakeholder Engagement
- Train and equip internal teams, including Regional Fleet counterparts and hub operations teams, on labor relations processes, compliance protocols, and case management procedures.
- Serve as a consultant for labor-related risks during the development and rollout of new workplace policies and operational initiatives.
- Foster relationships with government agencies (e.g., DOLE) and internal teams (People, Security, Operations) to promote consistent compliance practices.
- Workplace Conditions & Internal Audits
- Identify, assess, and manage workplace concerns related to worker grievances, safety, and working conditions in hubs, warehouses, and delivery points.
- Conduct internal labor compliance audits to proactively identify and address potential risks.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, DOLE regulations, and compliance standards
