As a Transport Planner, you will be competent in microscopic/mesoscopic transport modelling and junction modelling packages. You will be responsible for quality project delivery, with a good understanding of the transport planning GDC business area. You should be a team player as well as a task manager, exhibiting clear progression towards a technical career path. • Advanced knowledge in VISSIM, demonstrable experience in Linsig/SIDRA software, and the ability to produce clear, precise, and coherent traffic analysis and reports.
• Experience with Aimsun, EMME,and Cube is preferred.
• Experience working as a functional team/group lead is desired.
• Relevant transport modelling experience in other regions (APAC/UK/USA/ME).
• Ability to work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team and independently to solve problems.
• Capable of working under a challenging workload subject to short notice.
• Must be open to training and learning new software applications.
• Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities
• Serve as an expert within the transport planning discipline with specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in VISSIM and other microscopic/mesoscopic modelling software.
• Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices.
• Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify different solutions; guide others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures.
• Work independently, with guidance from SME/technical lead in only the most complex situations.
• Lead functional teams or projects.
• Take additional responsibility to support the smooth functioning of the TP business.
• Prepare to be an SME in the future.
Qualifications
* Degree in Transportation Planning/Engineering.
Experience
* 10-14 years of experience with GDC exposure (APAC/UK/ME)[1] [2]
