Information Technology Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across our organization. In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time.

• Assist with expense planning
• Identify and resolve technical challenges

Job Summary

The Project Manager shall take ownership and lead the testing, research and implementation of projects assigned. He/she shall coordinate project schedules, identify and resolve technical challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management to ensure that each project is successfully deployed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects assigned
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full scale project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project with the Development Team
• Manage project resource allocation
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance prior project deployment
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results

Desired qualifications and key competencies

• College graduate preferably in the field of computer science, IT Engineering with background in project management and analysis
• At least 6 years Project Management experience
• High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and manage risk
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Has the ability to quickly analyse data in a given situation
• Able to make sound decisions
• Great influencer, motivator and leading teams through tough times
• Ability to properly manage and delegate tasks
• Team player
• Excellent negotiation skills, good communicator, able to translate technical requirement to internal team and build relationships with clients
• Knowledged of Confluence and Jira
• Adaptable to changing working environment
• Advance knowledge of technological terms use in IT Development cycle e
