Food Safety Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) Manager
I. POSITION SUMMARY
A FSQR is responsible for the supervision and managing of food safety, quality and regulatory system and compliance.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Gaining an understanding of the client’s needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
2. Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
3. Devising, improving, and reviewing new specification and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
4. Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
5. Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting final products.
6. Keep accurate documentation and perform analysis.
7. Ensures that the company follows and complies regulatory and statutory requirements
8. FSCO of the Plant. Develop and oversee the implementation of the food safety programs and activities
9. Submit Quality and Food Safety reports to the Plant Manager
10. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
