Job Overview:

As Design Manager, you'll be driving collaboration between project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Your expertise will be crucial in meticulously reviewing design plans, proactively identifying and resolving challenges, and guaranteeing projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design Integrity & Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews of design drawings, specifications, and technical documents, ensuring strict adherence to project requirements, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Proactive Clash Resolution: Utilize your expertise to anticipate and resolve design clashes across all trades, minimizing costly delays and ensuring seamless construction execution.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Foster strong partnerships with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, providing expert technical guidance and collaboratively resolving design challenges throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance & On-Site Oversight: Conduct rigorous on-site inspections to assess workmanship quality, ensuring meticulous adherence to design specifications and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
• Clear & Effective Communication: Serve as a central point of communication, effectively conveying design feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of issues with all project stakeholders.
• Detailed Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of design changes, approvals, and project correspondence, ensuring comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Professional Credentials: Licensed Architect with a proven track record of success in construction site design management.
• Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar design management role, preferably within golf course or horizontal development projects.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations, with a strong ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Communication & Collaboration Mastery: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-Oriented & Quality-Driven: Unwavering commitment to detail, accuracy, and quality assurance, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
• Industry Specific Knowledge: Strong understanding of Golf Course and Fairway Lots or at least Horizontal Development background is required.
