About the role:

The Compliance & Risk Officer will be responsible mainly for operationalizing the Company’s enterprise management framework. Additionally, the Compliance & Risk Officer will lend support for one or more of the compliance programs managed by the Legal Risk and Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the Head of Legal Risk & Compliance, Building and managing the Company’s enterprise risk management framework
  • Maintaining the Company’s risk register and database
  • Conducting periodic risk assessments, and preparing the reports on the assessment results
  • Preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the Insurance Commission, and other regulatory offices (e.g. National Privacy Commission)
  • Maintaining the document inventory of the Legal Risk and Compliance Team

Qualifications:

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree preferably in the areas of finance, accounting, or law
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in the areas of enterprise risk management, compliance, and corporate governance, preferably gained in an insurance company or in any regulated company within the financial services space
  • Advanced skills on enterprise risk management; regulatory compliance
  • Self – starter; challenges the status quo when needed; fast learner; can work under minimal supervision; articulate; can write reports; collaborative
