Gusta Gelato is a fast growing F&B startup with a mission to transform the Philippines food scene. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic 360 HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruiting to help us attract, hire, and retain top talent while supporting other key HR functions.

Role Overview

As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong team. Your primary responsibility will be talent acquisition, but you will also support general HR operations, including onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR administration. Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition (60-70%)Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job postings, direct sourcing, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Maintain a strong employer brand through social media, job fairs, and networking events.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • General HR Support (30-40%)Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Help manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in an HR generalist and / or recruiting role.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing techniques.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
