Generalist (Recruiting Focus) HR Senior Associate / Lead

Gusta Gelato is a fast growing F&B startup with a mission to transform the Philippines food scene. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic 360 HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruiting to help us attract, hire, and retain top talent while supporting other key HR functions.
Role Overview
As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong team. Your primary responsibility will be talent acquisition, but you will also support general HR operations, including onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR administration. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact by taking a leadership position in building this growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition (60-70%)Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring processes.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job postings, direct sourcing, referrals, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview schedules.
- Maintain a strong employer brand through social media, job fairs, and networking events.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- General HR Support (30-40%)Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Help manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in an HR generalist and / or recruiting role.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing techniques.
- Familiarity with HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
