Assistant HR & Admin Manager
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HR & Admin Officer / Assistant Manager to assist in administrative operations and human resource functions in our Manila office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth office management, implementing HR policies, and driving employee engagement and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies in Malaysia.
- Manage payroll processing, employee benefits, and statutory contributions
- Address employee grievances and conduct disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth administrative functions.
- Manage office supplies, vendor contracts, and company assets.
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records, including employee files and company documentation.
- Ensure office facilities are well-maintained and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with vendors and landlord.
- Liaise with accountants and corporate secretary to ensure that Financial Statements, Annual Returns, AGM are filed on time.
- Assist in preparing contracts, policies, and official documentation.
- Liaise with government agencies for work permits, regulatory filings, and compliance matters.
- Any other ad-hoc job-related functions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and administrative roles
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior HR & Admin Officer
