Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or any related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and people management principles.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on Labor Relations and Employee Relations, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in managing a unionized environment is required
- Excellent strategic and business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- A proven track record of leading, developing & motivating high-performing teams.
- Ability to think creatively and implement innovative HR solutions
- Substantial experience in HR leadership role, ideally within a unionized environment
- Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work onsite and day shift
