The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Help businesses implement technology solutions by determining the requirements of a project or program, communicate them clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners, and provide support all throughout the System Development Life Cycle
- Liaise with relevant users on the scope & requirements that can be grouped into features for ballpark estimation during the Demand Categorization Process
- Lead requirement gathering analysis process and engage with business users, solution architects and delivery team to document, review and edit business requirements (BRS) for IT Solutions
- Prioritize and maintain the “Requirements Clarification Log” and “Traceability Matrix” for complex projects.
- Liaise with relevant users on the UAT plans and test case preparation.
- Conduct system test results verification, and sampling review prior to releasing the system for UAT
- Act as the IT coordinator to lead the users on the execution of user acceptance tests and deployment/implementation activities
- Facilitate the communication between IT, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure all have a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
- Provide support and coordination between IT, vendor or supplier, and business representatives throughout the system development life cycle
- Ensure compliance with all/IT governance activities during business requirements, QA, and Post Implementation stages
- Conduct post-implementation business verification testing to ensure that changes or new systems are implemented to production per requirements
- Collate feedback on system bugs and performance issues and submit them to IT for resolution
- Monitor implemented systems and identify areas for improvement
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise the ISG resources assigned to the project.
- Assume full responsibility for the end to end phases of the project: Initiation, Vendor Selection, Discovery/Solutioning, Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Stabilization
- Develop and maintain project schedule which includes the estimated cost as well as forecasted schedule and cascade to all stakeholders
- Project Level Risks and Issues management
- Manages scope changes to avoid scope creep
- Prepare management reports to be presented to Senior Management
- Financial Management: Manage budget, expenses and manpower costs from estimating to project closure
- Communicate project objectives to the team and establish clearly the roles and responsibilities of each member
- Define the escalation process within ISG, Business and the Vendor
- Ensure compliance to all Bank Policies
- Ensure compliance to Project Management standards and methodologies.
- Project Monitoring: Measure project performance and conduct root cause analysis to address common/recurring/high impact issues, metrics not met, and defects identified.
- Ensure that all the necessary trainings, project documents, manuals and guidelines are properly transitioned to application support group during the stabilization period before project closure.
- Deliver as per RACI of BAGO/Hybrid process.
- Works together with Enterprise Vendor Management team in negotiating with vendor on contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- With at least 7 years of experience in Business Analysis or Project Management
- Knowledgeable in SDLC
- With background in core banking-related projects
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up in Makati
- Can start ASAP!
