- Develop long-term quarry acquisition and development strategies using advanced optimization systems
- Drive operational efficiency through data-driven planning and innovative technologies
- Establish strategic material reserves and production targets aligned with business objectives
- Lead capital investment planning and resource optimization initiatives
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities
- Direct third-party contractor partnerships to maximize operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quarry operations with plant requirements
- Lead engagement with environmental consultants and rehabilitation specialists
Operational & Environmental Excellence
- Oversee quarry and crushing operations to ensure consistent material quality and supply
- Drive environmental compliance and sustainable quarry rehabilitation programs
- Manage risk mitigation and business continuity strategies
- Lead team development and safety culture initiatives
Qualifications:
- B.S. Mining Engineering or B.S. Geology graduate or its equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role - at least 5 years in planning and mining engineering and 3 years on drilling
