The Product Manager is primarily responsible in formulating and designing innovative programs for existing deposit products and any future business models or product variants, which will impact the bank's growth and competitiveness both now and in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Draws new business insights/ strategies and looks for opportunities to grow the business via thorough research of relevant trends and industry data
  • Conceptualizes, designs new programs or re-designs existing product solutions that seize potential in disrupting the market or the industry or address unserved / under-served consumer needs
  • Looks after the competitiveness of assigned product primarily by continuously enhancing its product features, operational performance / processes, and customer experience
  • Monitors the performance of the assigned product, its associated programs and/or product variants through preparation of relevant reports and performance / post-program review
  • Communicates with internal partners for the appropriate implementation of assigned product and related programs to achieve a broader portfolio and deeper client penetration
  • Identify, set-up and manage strategic alliances with internal/ external organizations to help support business goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any business course
  • Background in Industry and Consumer Research Methodologies , data collection, interpretation and analysis
  • Familiar with General banking and regulatory policies (preferably in Deposits)
  • Preferably with knowledge in Profitability / Financial Management
  • Good Analytical skills and project Management
  • Preferably with experience in financial services industry, project management and/or marketing gained from service sectors
